Following the Scottish Government's announcement that we are now in Phase 3 of the easing of lockdown restrictions, dental practices will be open from 13th of July to provide some non-urgent care as well as emergency treatment.

This means we can offer some more appointments on a face-to-face basis (such as check-ups and providing dentures), with continued alterations to our normal service to allow extra hand hygiene and social distancing measures.

We will continue to provide a telephone triage service for patients as we have done for the duration of the COVID-19 lockdown period. This can be accessed by calling:
0131 447 6279 or 07740 423625.

We are still unable to provide treatments that generate an aerosol (such as ultrasonic scaling or placement of most permanent fillings), but if one is urgently required we can arrange a referral to an appropriate NHS Lothian clinic.

Please note patients should only attend the practice if they have an appointment, so if you need to get in touch please call or e-mail.

If you attend an appointment and have symptoms of COVID-19 within the 7 days afterwards, you should inform us as soon as possible.
